What is Talk That Talk? Talk That Talk is a serious game created by Francien Baijanova that aims
to encourage dialogue between students about sexual violence against women, in order to raise
awareness and increase bystander behavior. During the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Week on the
6th of October, a group of students from TU Delft will organize and host an event presenting Talk
That Talk. Participants will play and discuss statements and questions about sexual violence in
small groups. After the game sessions, a presentation will be given about the topic, which will be
followed by a panel discussion with a group of experts answering and discussing questions about
Why do we need facilitators? Due to the sensitivity of the topic, it is important to create and
maintain a safe space in the game sessions with the small groups. Each group will be supervised by
a facilitator, who answers questions about the game and steps in when there is an issue. For this
evening, we are looking for ten facilitators, so we need your help!
Qualities of a facilitator? You can be a facilitator if you are a good listener, sensitive to other
people’s point of view and able to moderate a discussion.
What will you do? Before the event, you will follow a short training on safe spaces, facilitation and
how the game is played. During the event you will supervise two groups that play the game. For
this, you will receive a small compensation of €20,- and lots of gratitude and you will have
contributed to increasing awareness about sexual violence against women on campus.
After facilitation, you are welcome to stay and watch the panel discussion about sexual violence.
Compensation: You will receive a financial compensation of 20 euros.
