From first year students to Full Professors, we all have different ways of taking action towards creating a better world. But what makes one person an activist, and not the other? Do activist scientists harm the objectivity of academia, or is it rather the responsibility of scientists to do more with their knowledge? This panel discussion will aim to kick-start the conversation on campus.
During this event, prof. Patricia Osseweijer (AS, Biotechnology & Society), prof. Sabine Roeser (TPM, Ethics of Technology), dr. Riccardo Riva (CEG), and MSc. Emre Gökalan (3mE, Systems & Control) will discuss their different perspectives.
The discussion will be moderated by dr. Gerdien de Vries (TPM, associate professor Climate Psychology)
