Beyond Conflict: A future where anything is possible
Time is often seen as linear, a logical continuation of the present. But what if our linear view of time — always chasing goals, always in a hurry, always stress, always a scarcity — is part of what fuels conflict? Traditional debates often leave little space to truly understand where others are coming from. That’s why in this Critical Mass Session we will introduce the Antidebate: an interactive, transformative session where we explore a different experience of time to see if it can bring us closer together.
Guided by Michael Bready from Perspectiva, we explore new ways of stepping out of the logic of winning and losing, and into a space where head, heart, and spirit meet. Not a contest, but a shared journey toward verition — a lived experience of truth.
Rounding off the War and Entropy series, which delved into challenging and important conversations, we’ll spend time to dream up radically hopeful visions of the future. In this guided and interactive practice of Unhinged Hope, you’ll have the rare opportunity of being released from the limits of practicalities and feasibility. Letting ourselves enter the idealistic world of hopeful possibility sets the ground for deep reflection on our current reality.
During the afernoon we will also offer an intensive workshop around the Antidebate for a limited number of participants. If you are interested in taking part you can find more information and sign up on the separate Antidebate event page.
