TUD Debating Club hosts a public show debate.
What is this ShowDebate? It is a debate, where two sides will argue for or against a statement/motion chosen by the people attending the event in a poll. The rules of the showdebate are as follows:
– In each team there will be 3 people, each speaking for 5 minutes.
– People from the other team clarify, question and raise arguments, with points of interest not exceeding 15s of speaking time.
– The main idea of a speech is to provide arguments, rebut the other side and make it entertaining. The winning team will be decided by a judge and a vote by the spectators.
