VOX Discussion Night: How do we know anything?

Clearly, we humans can do science, learn about the world, and, by doing so, achieve great things. We built massive structures, invented flying machines, and put a man on the moon. We can thank our great knowledge of the world for all that.

And, yet, philosophically, everything we know could be a lie. We could be living in a simulation and the universe could have been created last Tuesday. So where do these worlds of extreme skepticism and extreme know-how meet? And how does this all add up to a day-to-day life in which things actually kind of make sense?

Join us Tuesday the 18th of February in the Nook, to discuss whether we can really know anything at all! Snacks and drinks are on us 🙂

This event is organized by VOX Delft in collaboration with SG.
