Self-actualization is often described as the journey of becoming your truest self, fully realizing your potential, and aligning your life with your deepest values and desires. But what does this truly mean, and how can we approach such a profound concept? Philosophers and psychologists have long grappled with these questions, offering theories that range from Maslow’s hierarchy of needs to existentialist musings on freedom and authenticity. This week, we will dive into these ideas, exploring both theoretical frameworks and personal experiences that illuminate the path to self-discovery. And, intriguingly, we will also ask: what does this have to do with Berlin’s famed sex clubs?
