Since graduating with a research MA from the University of Utrecht in 2010, I’ve been responsible at Studium Generale for working together with students and student associations to realize all kinds of activities on campus. Everything from debates on open source or nuclear energy, to lunch lectures on the first stem cell-based hamburger, to documentary nights with film directors and journalists at the major fraternities in Delft.
If you’re a student or staff member and you’ve got an idea for an activity, I can help make it happen; and, conversely, if I have an idea for an activity, and you’re in a position to help organize it, I will find you and convince you that we should do something about it. Together, we can get Delft thinking critically and intelligently about this batsh*t crazy world and make a positive impact.
I’m also responsible for some of the weekly programs at SG, like the student- and staff-led yoga & meditation sessions, the VOX Delft discussion nights, the SG Academy lunch discussions, and the TU Delft Debating Club nights. These are fun ways to go a lot deeper into particular skills and topics that you won’t find anywhere else in Delft. If you have questions about these or any other possible activities, send me an email at k.p.vandertempel (at) tudelft.nl
