10 billion people living on our planet by 2100? No problem! At least, if the Western World stops focusing on their own health and prosperity. And if we stop assuming the development of new technologies will automatically stop climate change.
So how should we handle climate change? How will we tackle problems like the abundance of drinking water?
The lecture will be given by Cees Buisman, professor at the sub department of Environmental Technology at Wageningen University and expert in the field of sustainable water technology. In his essay ‘de mens is geen plaag’ (‘mankind is not the problem’) he breaks down stereotypes and comes up with creative, positive solutions.
