Dinsdag 3 maart 2015 organiseert de VSV ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ een symposium met als thema: Journey of a Lifetime, the cycle of aircraft development. Gedurende deze dag zullen prominente sprekers uit de binnen en buitenlandse luchtvaartindustrie de deelnemers door middel van 8 lezingen meenemen op een reis door het leven van een vliegtuig. Sprekers zijn onder andere de Senior Vice President Research and Technology van zowel Airbus als Rolls-Royce, de Executive Vice President Flight Operations van KLM en de CEO van de Luchtverkeersleiding Nederland.
Het eerste deel van de dag zal gaan over het design en production proces van een vliegtuig. Vervolgens wordt er dieper op het operationele leven ingegaan. De dag zal eindigen met lezingen over engineering, maintenance en de end of life procedure. Alle studenten zijn welkom tegen een gereduceerde prijs van 2,50 euro.

Tuesday the 3rd of March 2015 the VSV ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ organises a symposium themed: Journey of a Lifetime, the cycle of aircraft development. During this day eight prominent speakers from the international aviation industry will take you on a journey through the life of an aircraft. Among others the Senior Vice President Research and Technology of both Airbus as Rolls-Royce, the Executive Vice President Flight Operations of KLM and the CEO of Air Traffic Control the Netherlands.
The day will start with lectures on the design and production process of an aircraft. Subsequently, we will go into detail regarding the operational life.
