Janno Lanjouw is a co-founder of the Food Film Festival and recently appeared on DeCorrespondent.nl with an article on Monsanto and genetic engineering in the agricultural industry.
The study association of Life Sciences and Technology (SV LIFE) and SG have invited him to give a lecture on the different realities and opinions about genetic modification, and how a scientist or engineer should deal with the controversies. It is after all important to know what you are getting involved in by entering a certain field, and to be able to make up your own mind about the ethical issues you’ll face. At the end of the lecture there will be time for questions and discussion.
