One step closer to a green wardrobe.
Monday the 24th of February is the clothing exchange day!! 🎊 Organized in collaboration with the one and only Stylos ⚒ You can finally exchange that shirt that you will never wear for a potentially sustainable new outfit!! This way you can bring home a new wardrobe for free👠👟, and no new clothes have to be produced. You can hand in your clothes for vouchers with which you can pick out something new. If you don’t want to get rid of anything in your closet👚👕, but you are looking for a steal, then you don’t have to worry! You can buy kilos of clothing for a low price.
Thijs Verheul, the founder of second-hand clothing store and app United Wardrobe and project Cece will be there to speak about the environmental need for normalizing second hand clothing. How does the clothing industry work? What are his personal experiences as a sustainable startup entrepreneur in this industry? Which goals do we need to reach in order to change the clothing industry? Get ready for tips and tricks on how to treat your clothing sustainably.
Find us in room K at the faculty of Architecture from 12:45 pm. Check the poster for more information when and where you can return your clothing. This lecture was made possible by SG.
